Collaborative Sense Making (CSM) Workshop
Collaborative Sense Making is an intensive communication and problem-solving workshop that expands leaders’ capacity to integrate learning with decision-making in high-stress situations.
When faced with new information that they disagree with or cannot make sense of, most leaders reflexively strive to exert greater control instead of stepping back to understand the situation more fully. CSM participants learn how to use moments of uncertainty, confusion, and disagreement as opportunities for making better decisions and aligning stakeholders.
In a highly interactive session, CSM participants practice techniques for “making sense” with others in a collaborative way – a conversational mode that actually increases their managers’, peers’, and reports’ confidence in their ability to lead and move complex organizations to action.
Customized role-plays, video recording, and on-the-spot feedback guide participants to recognize counterproductive reflexive behaviors and adopt beneficial mindful ones. The skills developed are essential to negotiating differences and managing conflicts.
CSM is an online workshop that spreads 7 hours of small class instruction over 3 days. Kennxion CEO Mark Ledden, Ph.D. personally facilitates all sessions.
Fee: $7,000 for up to 12 participants
