Executive Coaching
We see coaching as an accelerant that helps successful professionals unlock their full potential. Our clients are typically executives who have already achieved remarkable things, but who have in some way become stuck or limited by the very traits that helped them get ahead. Typically, these mindsets and behaviors are not inherently bad, and the answer is not to get rid of them. We work to identify circumstances that make our clients feel compelled to act in a certain way, even if a part of them knows that doing so may not achieve the desired results. We then try to loosen the connection between stimulus and response, so that our clients can discern between their instinctive, habitual reactions and responses that are more effective and useful to the situation. Over the course of a six-month engagement, we explore assumptions and beliefs, imagine alternative behaviors, and create a series of experiments that, over time, impact both mindsets and actions.
Professional Skills Programs
KennXion business skills programs prepare our clients to drive change. That’s why we focus on the Delta Disciplines, or three complementary domains of expertise that support continuous personal and organizational improvement. We design customized programs from single day introductions to developmental sprints with specific skills introduced during the course of real-world projects to combined curriculums for rising leaders.

Team Coaching
Sometimes teams made up of high-performing members struggle to work together effectively. Sometimes this is simply because they are new to working together or have experienced a significant change, like working remotely for an extended period. Sometimes it is because structural and cultural forces make trust, transparency, and shared accountability difficult. Sometimes it is because smart, strong-willed people get locked in past conflicts that continue to play out long after they are resolved.
KennXion designs custom team retreats using the See, Own, Design, Act model to recognize structural and mindset barriers to performance, reflect on accountability, and jointly create data-based experiments to increase trust, decrease conflict, and improve performance. We also act as facilitators and advisors to help mediate differences among crucial team members.
Performance Partnerships
Continuous improvement combined with leadership development
Each of the Delta Disciplines is essential, but eventually organizations experience diminishing returns if, over time, they focus on only one or two of them and neglect the third. Over the years, we have helped clients create organizations in which personal mastery and interpersonal effectiveness created powerful benefits, but eventually could not overcome problems that required detailed process discipline and continuous improvement skills. Similarly, we have helped clients map crucial value streams and uncover addressable inefficiencies worth millions of dollars, only to see their transformation plans falter because of trust and communication issues. Performance partnerships ensure that all three of the disciplines required to drive and sustain change are addressed in the right balance at the right time. KennXion performance partnership teams lead or advise client teams as they:
- Identify problems, define and map current state processes, quantify improvement opportunities and develop future state processes to capture them
- Syndicate emerging hypotheses with stakeholders and develop and deploy change management communications strategy and plans
- Stage just-in-time skills workshops and facilitate problem sessions to help project team members, project leaders, and organizational stakeholders surface issues, align on solutions, and move to action.
